Lessons
Violin lessons are available online or in person to players at all levels from beginners to professionals and include all music styles. I teach each student individually at their own pace. Lessons are tailored to your strengths, interests and desire to progress. I teach classical, baroque violin, improvisation, and tango.
My method for beginners consists in discovering the violin by playing pleasant melodies, at the same time as we work on the technique and learn music theory.For more advanced students, we work on specific technique and musical works. Once a year I will host a performance with all students.
Lessons can be conducted in English, French or Spanish.

Introductory Lesson

If you are new to the violin, this lesson is for you! Learn how to set up your instrument, reading music, body posture and the basic arm positions.
I use Zoom for online appointments. Please make sure beforehand that your system is compatible with both audio and visual components. Different browsers/operating systems may require some additional plugins for the video conferencing to work smoothly. This way, we can be sure to use the full hour to work on all things violin-related.
